Lesson on Sampson

Had a great lesson tonight with my barn owner on her sweet guy Sampson.  He is awesome, very forgiving, but most definitely lets you know if you are not asking correctly.  We only worked at a walk - 20 meter circles, then 15 meter circles, then some serpentines.  I was able to have a lesson, for the first time, that was strictly about me.  One of my biggest obstacles to overcome is learning to relax and flow - from my calves up to my hands.  Here is a bit of video from our lesson:

You look great!! The only thing I noticed was that you didn't have any bend in your elbows. When you start trotting and posting you'll need the bend in your elbows. :) Fantastic work! Will you have another lesson on him? He was cute by the way.

One of many things I need to work on! It was great to have a lesson just to work on me - since lessons are normally all about my baby girl :)

I am waiting to see if the vet clears Riva today for any work. May take another lesson on Sampson, regardless.

Yeah that's the only problem with starting babies. :) I'm hoping to take a few lessons before I start Chrome for a refresher but it's going to completely depend on my husband's job status unfortunately. I hope Riva is cleared and you can start riding again. :)
