I have put this off for too long and seriously just need to get it done! But would love some input from those of you who have equine insurance for your fabulous ponies.
What company do you use? Why did you chose this company?
Thanks in advance for any help you can send my way!

I had nothing but fabulous experiences with Broadstone Equine Insurance. I did a lot of research before I chose a company, and they also came highly recommended. They were fabulous to work with. Their rates were reasonable and they don't have a minimum value that the horse must be worth/insured for. I was mostly in it for the major medical and I have no regrets there. Missy was on their Hartford Plan.
Blue Bridle. They insure horses as well as tack.
I use Market Insurance and they offered a reasonable rate and have been easy to deal with. I just have mortality and colic surgery insurance though. I used to use Hallmark Insurance and they were also great, but not as cheap as Markel.
Blue Bridle, I've used it for years no issues.
I second Broadstone! Nothing but great things from them.
I use Fry's Equine Insurance, Great American is the underwriter.
They were extremely helpful when I needed to get insurance on Miles during his trial period and very, very reasonable with that process. They're a smaller company and I believe that helps ensure that customer service is their #1 priority. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!
